Meet the people behind the Hudson Center

Georganne Chapin
Founder and CEO
For three decades, Georganne Chapin has advocated and worked toward cost-effective, high quality, humane health care for all. Former CEO of Hudson Health Plan, she founded the Hudson Center for Health Equity and Quality in 2004. She holds a BA in anthropology from Barnard College, an MPhil in sociomedical sciences from Columbia University, and a JD from Pace University School of Law.
Howard Birnbaum
Chief Financial Officer
Howard Birnbaum received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baruch College in 1968. After working in public accounting for three years, he began a career in healthcare that started at the Central Office of the New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation where he was responsible for developing and monitoring the revenue and expenditure budgets of the eighteen member hospitals. He then moved to Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, where – as chief financial officer, he oversaw the finances of that facility, as well as – later – the Queens Health Network. In 1998, Howard came to Hudson Health Plan, a Medicaid managed care plan, where he served as Chief Financial Officer until the company was acquired in 2014. Since 2016, Howard has served as Chief Financial Officer at the Hudson Center.
Sherri Ehrlich
Managing Director
Sherri is an accomplished business leader and strategic partner, skilled in linking business objectives with solutions. She has excellent consultative, planning, and relationship-building skills, and a record of establishing and maintaining client engagement. Sherri received her MBA degree from Iona College.
Jon Raymunt
Chief Technology Officer
Jon is a hands-on software architect and developer who utilizes an agile approach to design and implement maintainable software solutions. Prior to joining the Hudson Center, Jon worked as a senior software developer for a national consulting firm focused on health care systems. He received his BSE degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Univ. of Connecticut.
Sherin Jacob
Senior Account Manager
Sherin’s expertise is in business analysis, new business development and quality assurance. Prior to joining the Hudson Center in 2015, she was a data analyst at a New Jersey hospital in the Quality and Patient Experience department. She has a Master’s in Public Health from New York Medical College.
Marisel Rivera-Stuck
Senior Operations Manager
Marisel brings knowledge and experience in customer support, client training, documentation and medical billing software, and is responsible for client communications, project coordination and general office management for the Hudson Center. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Pace University.
Nidhi Pandya
Senior Software Developer

Nidhi is a senior software devaloper with the Hudson Center. She has experience with designing and developing software and web applications. Prior to working at the Hudson Center, Nidhi was a software developer at a financial firm. Her prior experience includes Front-End and Back-End developement for applications. She has a master’s degree in Computer engineering and a Bachleors in electrical engineering. Nidhi has also studied data analytics/data science at Columbia University.

Betsy Louis
Senior Software Developer

Betsy is a full stack software developer with expertise in building software solutions using agile scrum methodology. Prior to joining the Hudson Center, she worked as a software developer at a SUNY (State University of New York) college. She has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from University of West Georgia.

Dan Zilker
Business Development Manager

Dan’s experience as business developer and sales leader in the regulatory and compliance arena will help facilitate successful consultations and software implementations. He has a proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products, programs and services. He received his BS in Management from Northland College.
