    Past Custom Development Efforts by the Hudson Center

    • ID Card System. A health plan client needed a new system for generating and replacing member ID cards and on-boarding materials for new members. The Hudson Center was able to design and execute the project in under six months.

     

    • Find-a-Provider internet site. A community health center client wanted to revamp their online provider directory to comply with new federal regulations, and to be more effective and user-friendly. The Hudson Center delivered the new site on-budget and on-time.

     

    • Intranet Development. The Hudson Center is currently involved in the creation of a new intranet site for one of our clients. Our work includes both structure and content development.

     

    • Custom “Apps.” The Hudson Center is prototyping an app related to the risks of adolescent use of e-cigarettes (“vaping”). The project, which will be carried out in partnership with an organization with a robust adolescent health focus, requires grant funding; we are waiting to hear from a foundation to which we have submitted a proposal.

     

    • CHP Recon – a system that manages the Child Health Plus roster reconciliation for health plans and submits changes and new members to the NYS CHPKids system. This system incorporates a web-based front end that allows subject matter experts to review, correct and re-submit information as necessary.  Recertifying applicants can begin their application in an Enroll NY Private Portal, which will transmit the data automatically to FEEA and directly through CHP Recon to the State.

     

    • On-Line Child Health Plus recertification. The Hudson Center developed a proprietary on-line portal for individuals to recertify for public benefit programs, using a self-authentication protocol. The Hudson Center obtained the approval from NYS DOH – the first authentication protocol approved outside New York City – and has reduced the number of members “churning” (losing and regaining eligibility) in the system.

     

    • AR Analyzer™. The AR Analyzer is a custom-developed system that automatically submits vouchers to the state for payment for Medicaid enrollees from managed care organizations.

     

    • RHIO Communicator™. The Health Homes and DSRIP programs require sharing of member/patient care plan information with the local RHIOs.  The Hudson Center-developed solution systematically collects the information required from a variety of core systems and produces a file for transmission to the RHIOs.  The approved file format for transmittal is the state-published Health Information Exchange CCDA format.  The system can also produce a PDF for those RHIOs unable to accept the CCDA format.
